Players have been impatient for four long years, but the patch to fix the janky Steam port of Nier: Automata is finally ready, and Square Enix gave up the update later this week.

It was originally an upgrade patch announced on Nier's official Twitter account in April. After a few difficult weeks at Square Enix, he discovered that Nier: Automata was bombarded on Steam, thanks to the greatly improved stability of the PC version of Xbox Game Pass. Please note that the Game Pass version is not perfect, but most people think it is better than the Steam version.

In fact, repairing most of Automata's Steam issues has existed for a long time. So far, this is the first major repair to the Steam port since the game was released in 2017. If you are interested in Fast Steam Level Service, you can go to MMOSO.com to check it out.

After the update is complete, players will find that most of the main problems of Automata seem to have been resolved. The annoying recurring mouse problem in the previous game has been solved, so that when the player uses the controller, the cursor will no longer pop up in the middle of the screen every 10 minutes. The current cutscenes are lucky enough to reach 60fps, and the effect is better than before. I don’t know how much. Finally, borderless window support was also added, which is a simple option that was strangely missing at launch.

Some graphics options have also been put into use, such as the UI texture gets a 4K upgrade and the ability to switch different levels of global illumination. The game will now detect HDR and start the game in HDR mode (if it is activated), as well as some minor adjustments to combat aliasing.

These fixes basically seem to do what the popular FAR mod has been doing for years, but it's nice to see Square Enix finally pull out its fingers for an official fix. The update will be live on July 15th at 9 am Pacific Standard Time/12 pm Eastern Time/5 pm British Summer Time. It's better to be late than never, eh?

Many of my friends like the games on Steam very much, including myself of course. I spend a lot of time and money on the Steam account because I use it as one of my social accounts. Steam Level Up Fast will make me very happy, so I can show off in front of my friends. And I often buy Steam Level Up from MMOSO because it is trustworthy.
