I'm somewhere between 400-500 DPS on average as a wild tank. With the dorky level 40 hat you'll have a more powerful cat-like form. If not, and the WOW TBC Gold other person said is true. You should just tank.
Feral tank can use racks of items and swap out to DPS in a matter of minutes, and the difference in the talents between the tank and the top DPS cat is about one or two points. There's no reason to play feral DPS just for the sake of it.
There's more use. And personally I'm not a tad sombre and don't care that you're only getting 500-600 DPS in a group with me. It's just to point out that tanking can be a huge benefit.
Part of my issue is that I'm not able to do my full rotation with certain mobs due to the hunter/mage/lock clearing everything. .... Raids have much higher overall dps - not quite as high as pure DPS but much lower than Dungeons.
It's normalto not challenge AOE, as you've heard. People today compare everything to the best parsing circle-jerks on the market So it doesn't matter. You can do fine DPS on bosses and even switch to DPS better than other tanks. Most people only speak BiS and Parse within the mainstream today 10 seconds longer an encounter made simpler by utility is too far for them.
If feral literally refuses to ever bear (which is gorgeous troll also) they still have an innervate buff, crit buff and then ff in the absence of a boomie. They also have a mangle debuff that applies to those who have bleeding, and have the same dps as the rogue. Rogue can only be effective when they are the sole raider and have an excellent IEA uptime.
Guild needs me to be a Boomkin for the near future. I'm currently trying to make my Boomie set. Prior to that, I was focusing on Resto and that set was almost exactly what I was looking for. What I've got is a mix of heroic drops, raid discards and reputation purchases. I feel this so much with regards to H SP. The other groups are "EYE RESERVED". Yes, I realize that I'm late however it's highly unlikely I'll ever make it there at this rate.
When you reach the 70 levels, you'll get the glaives. Then, you go on lengthy sequences of daily quests, dungeons and battlegrounds. You can also do weekly Kara runs to increase the effectiveness of your warglaives over the course of time. When BT is launched, a catch-up mechanic is added to track everyone's progress to buy WOW Burning Crusade Classic Gold the level at which you've gotten the whole expansion.
