Vicarious Visions was moved under Blizzard Entertainment. It has since completed its integration. It was then renamed Blizzard Albany.Blizzard Entertainment, which is part of Activision Blizzard, is currently in the process of being taken over by Microsoft for Xbox. New Patch Repairs Decade-Old Bugs The appeal of Diablo II is still going great, if the figures on Blizzard's Diablo II: Resurrected are any hint. In a press release announcing the arrival of Patch 2.4 for the remaster (read Neil's opinion on it here), Blizzard has revealed that Resurrected has sold over 5 million units, which has far exceeded the original's four million sales.
In the case of the 2.4 patch it's the first patch in over 11 years to address balance issues in Diablo II. "Among these changes are enhancements for each class new Rune Words, fresh cheap D2R Ladder Items Cube Recipes, Mercenary reworks, and much more!"
