There are new rumors that "Fortnite" may currently be brewing a new collaboration with the Marvel Universe. Many Marvel characters could still be added to Fortnite, so this could mean exciting news for gamers who love both franchises. Players can prepare enough Fortnite V-BUCKS in the game.
Fortnite has had several collaborations with comic series such as Marvel and DC. These crossover games feature unique skins and key game events with characters from these universes. During these limited-time events, several famous Marvel characters such as Captain America, Wolverine, Thanos, Ant-Man and Deadpool are featured in Fortnite, so see more characters or brand new stories based on them The plot is no surprise.
Now, possible evidence suggests that Fortnite may be planning a new collaboration with the Marvel Universe. According to FN News, the recent 25.20 update brought several Stark Industries files to a table near the dilapidated compound, which could be a hidden hint that a new storyline is coming.
Unfortunately, it's too early to determine if this hints at a future Easter egg or just a coincidence, as these files aren't new game assets. This asset was first used in Fortnite Season 2, Chapter 4, where the famous Nexus War takes place in the Fortnite universe. In this massive 2020 event starring Tony Stark, players must face off against the dreaded Eater of Worlds - The Eater of Worlds. The season was so successful, as it featured Wolverine, Thor, Iron Man, She-Hulk, and other popular Marvel characters, that there was even a special event near the end when The Devourer finally arrived on the island.
Players will need to wait, though, for more information on the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, as the new season won't start until August 25, 2023. While we wait, fans can at least enjoy some current collaborations going on in Fortnite. For example, the game recently added Arnold Schwarzenegger's famous character from the Terminator movies as a new skin.
