Red lines between players mean they do not share a nation, league, or club. Yellow lines mean the two players share EA FC 24 Coins one of these, and green lines mean the players share more than one. The better the chemistry between players, the better the team will perform.

To create the best squad without spending real money on premium players, fans of FC 24 will want to stay away from purchasing Gold Packs to try and get the best players in Ultimate Team. Purchasing these packs is akin to gambling, as there is no way to guarantee good players will be included. Instead, players should opt to grind in the game, completing squad-building challenges and climbing the ranks. Many in-game activities result in free Gold Packs, and players can also remain active in the transfer markets to build the team they really want.

It's a good idea to wait to pick up a new player until after the weekend rush for better deals. Players can also make sure they can access their roster and sign new players from wherever they are with the EA Sports FC FUT app, so if a good opportunity presents itself, they can capitalize on it.

Finally, if they can maintain their team for cheaper and still grab some overpowered players, it's better to opt for less popular or lesser-known names with less pricey contracts than premium players with name recognition. Players may have a better chance of improving chemistry and dominating the game with players outside the well-known leagues and clubs.

The announcement of EA Sports FC ratings has become something of a yearly holiday. Some players are blessed with sky-high numbers because of the team they're on or one famous goal they scored. Other players openly complain about their stats. No one is ever satisfied with their rating. That being said, the six players on this list won't be doing any complaining. Here are the five most overrated players in FC 24 as compared to real life:

The main center forward for the English champions is a prestigious role, but no one has ever performed like Roberto Firmino. The diminutive Brazilian plays a complicated game that sees him link up with the world's best pair of wingers, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane. Being paired with those two is a big part of the reason Firmino only scored 9 goals in the Premier League last season, but not hitting double-digits is a poor return for any team's lead striker.

Firmino is also key to Liverpool's defensive pressing, so much so that rival fans have deemed him to be a 'Defensive Striker'. Firmino's 87 OVR rating puts him level with Aubameyang, who scored 22 goals in the league last season, and Heung-Min Son who bagged 11 from a winger's position. Firmino is only rated as highly as he is because he holds a Premier League champions medal. A much more fair rating for Firmino would be 83 OVR.

Another player who is rated highly because of the team he plays for, Lenglet was rated 78 OVR before his transfer to FIFA 24 Coins for sale  Barcelona in 2018. and then curiously bumped to an 82 after moving to the Catalan club. Barcelona already has a highly-rated CB in Pique, so EA Sports FC really has no excuse for inflating Lenglet's numbers. 85 is much too high for any defender on the pitch for an 8-2 defeat like Barcelona's 2020 Champions League exit at the hands of Bayern Munich last season. Lenglet would be much more comfortable at 82 or 83.
