I did exactly the same as you, bought it a couple months back on sale too lol since I simply kept seeing such positive things about it. Definitely worth every single penny and I'm even contemplating purchasing the physical release simply to have.
It came out the very night I lost my job into Covid. I spent a good month placing almost 100 hours into Animal Crossing while I was unemployed, then simply stopped entirely and have not had any need to Cheap Animal Crossing Items return to it nearly a year later.
