Generally, it is recommended by manufacturers that the steel balls added each time should be the maximum size of the design. However, when the vertical roller mill is not short of steel balls, the output of the vertical roller mill is still difficult to reach the output when it was put into operation. Therefore, further exploration is needed in the proportion of ball size.
The perfect armor of the vertical roller mill can increase the friction coefficient between the steel ball and armor, and increase the output of the mill. If the armor is seriously worn, there will be a large relative sliding between the steel ball and armor, and more energy will be consumed in the friction between the steel ball and armor. If it is not used to lift the steel ball, the output of the vertical roller mill will decrease significantly.
When the armor in the vertical roller mill is damaged or falls off, the obvious impact sound can be heard on the spot. In this case, the vertical roller mill should be stopped as soon as possible to deal with the damaged armor, so as to avoid large-area damage to the armor.
