Hey there, Well, I've decided to go after the big 99 Fletching. I'm now 69 Fletching and I am fletching maple logs into maple longbows(u) as you read this. Create Half-Maple Longbows (u) and sell them once you fletch them. Create Yew Longbow(un ) and RuneScape gold then buy the Bowstrings, then make the Yew Longbows and sell them. Create Yew Longbow(u) and buy flax, craft the Bowstrings, then make the Yew Longbows and then sell them. Make Yew Longbow(un ) then buy flax, craft the Bowstrings, then make the Yew Longbows and then buy the character runes and High Alch them.

I want the fastest option for 99 Fletching, but that I also don't wish to go from the negative direction for profit. I want to earn a profit but that I want it fast (who doesn't?) I'd feel that Yew Longbows and selling them are the best option, but doing the entire 14 Yew Longbow(un ) and 14 Bowstrings might be a pain so I thought perhaps the additional 20k half-maple longbows might be worth it. Please let me know what you think.

The ideal way is using yew long bows, as you mentioned. It's fast, and it gives good cash. Selling them is much quicker, and better profit than alching. Therefore, unless you are going for magical exp also, just put them up for sale. Some people would let you use magical extended bows to make it faster, however it's so difficult to OSRS buy gold purchase magic logs that the time:exp radio is WAY from the favour of making\selling yew longs.
