The lack of quests generally is due to the fact that OSRS Gold there are so many. We're now at 200. Back in 2005, 29 quests were released.

Additionally, today, with the world brimming with Completionist Caps, the main reaction to most quests is '2 hour to bring my Comp back to rip'. They rush through the quest without really paying attention to the storyline and content and would probably vote no on the latest quests. This may not be the best approach however, I think. I think that fewer quests will have higher quality. They're doing a good job at the moment, but the quality isn’t quite as good.

It is a source of frustration for me that quests aren't being released. I honestly can't remember more than three quests in 2013 (though there could be more). There is an overall lack of updates. The RS3 development team appears to be to be at least 10 times larger than the Old School Runescape one, however, they seem to produce a similar quantity of content to Old School Runescape's. Now RS3 content is richer and harder to make, but still I think it's a little disappointing. Imagine all they did during the first nine months of 2004.

Runescape 2 released. Morytania was released (up to Port Phasmatys and Mort'ton I think). Tiranwwn (elf land) released Kharidian desert greatly expanded. Relekka Etceteria, Miscellania, Relekka, and Lighthouse released (and everything else north of the council bridge). Runecrafting skill. Burthorpe, Troll Areas released. There are many quests to go with these.

In 2005, slayer was launched. This was all done by a much smaller team of developers than the one we have today. I understand it's more difficult to Buy RuneScape 2007 Gold make updates with textures and all that, but more quests and updates in general certainly would be great.
