In the latest show on D2R Items, Post Malone was confronted about his love of video games specifically with regard to music. In the response, Malone asked host Sean Evans whether he was doing Elden Ring to himself.
Evans claimed that he had not, which led to Malone proposing the game. Even so, Post Malone explained that the game requires him to turn the music off while playing Elden Ring because it stresses him out too much.
"I turn the music to the point of being completely silent [in Elden Ring] because it is absurd. It's literally like choirs, not of angels, [but] of demons. You can't are going to live," Post Malone said of the game's soundtrack. "After a fight, I'm like shaking so much that I'm going to have to get out to smoke and I'm like, 'I have to decompress.'"

He specifically mentioned titles such as Skyrim, The Legend of Zelda, and Mario Bros. as just a handful that he adores. Even though it's true that the Elden Ring score might be quite overwhelming for him to manage sometimes, it appears like he's not a person to turn off the in-game soundtrack at all times.
