I don't think that's been the gist of this criticism at all. People have critiqued the sport for the ways that it deviated in the old games, not since the AC formula isn't for players. For example: making the matches increasingly more centered around the participant and not as much round the villagers, with less conversation variant, less diverse behaviors, the ability to control who comes and goes, etc..

Why can not they release everything from the start? That's the thing that I'm unhappy about. I enjoyed the 120 hours I put into the match and got out until its defects began bothering me too much, but that was before even paintings were inserted and with how slow it is to get paintings I feel like I wasted a lot of time enjoying it ahead. The buy Animal Crossing Items only thing this release schedule/scheme has done is make me want not to play for two decades and then pick it up as it feels like a complete game.
