Revenue from Madden NFL 24 Films and the Madden NFL 24 Network goes into the league's revenue stream that Madden 24 coins gets split between teams and divided among players under the collective bargaining agreement.

The ever expanding popularity, and profits, for the team and its league suggests to him that the appearances of former players are worth more than what they currently receive -- which is not much and is more than what they would be able to receive from settlements proposed by the league this year.
Madden NFL 24 suggested a Mut coins for sale settlement in spring of 2013 that would contribute $50 million, plus an estimated $8 million in legal fees as a contribution to a fund for retired players. Settlement funds will be distributed over a period of eight years, and will go to charities that support initiatives for retired players. It would also create a licensing agency for retired players which could, ideally, bring in additional income to the fund.
